We picked Feteasca Neagră from “La Schit” and Cabernet Sauvignon from “Colina Mănăstirii”, where the acidic and humus-poor soils, specific to the oak and beech forests that have been growing in this area for hundreds of years, gave the grapes an unique expressiveness. This wine greets us with accents of leather, spices and tobacco, plum fruity flavors and overripe black fruits, savory complemented by mentholated accents of chocolate and coffee.

Best served with: Grilled beef or pork, game menus, aged cheeses.

    Carefully selected grapes; lightly crushed. Bacterial fermentation on the marc for 4-5 days at controlled temperature of 18-22°C to ensure that the color extraction followed by alcohol fermentation at a controlled temperature of 22-24°C. The weight of the varieties allowed us to have a complement of the aromatic highlights that would provide the wine its flavor and robustness.
